I know it's been forever since I've last been active here, but life tends to get in the way of fun things. I'm glad that I can start focusing on cosplay once more, though! I've also started a Facebook page (and have taken up a new cosplay name!) since I think that might be easier to keep up with. It's very new, so it'll need some time to flesh out, but I'll be posting cosplays old and new, and future works in progress. Feel free to follow me there!

Sorry I've been so absent! School was really keeping me busy, on through the summer even, since I also took an internship with summer classes. I'm trying to charge through the rest of the classes to finish up, finally. I've only got two weeks of a break until I start the Fall semester, too. At least it'll all be over soon!

I apologize to all the awesome new people who added me to your watch lists and also have taken the time to add my work to your favorites! While I don't send comments to everyone who adds a fav, I really appreciate it! It means a lot that so many people like and enjoy my work as much as I do. So, thank you. =]


On to cosplay things! Even though I've been out of commission for cosplay since Megacon and Torakaka, in the half a week I've been out of classes, I've cranked out one new cosplay and have been working on some pieces for future ones! Here's what you can expect to see sometime soon:

Miss Aubrey from Dance Central
I decided to make her costume since I pretty much had all the pieces already around me and I thought it would be a fun, easy outfit to finish and wear for AFO. Well, in considering it, I figured most people wouldn't recognize me as her when dressed so normally, and I felt weird with not much work having to gone into it, so. I decided to crank out Boomie to go along with her! Two days before the convention. As usual, lol. Luckily, I feel it worked out alright, I was happy enough with the result. Pictures to come! I'll also probably bring her to AWA.

I have all the pieces, fabric and bow and such, and plan to get this done over the next two weeks before school starts. I should be wearing her at AWA!

Sailor Jupiter
Planning on making her for a group at Megacon next year, whee! I'll probably be spending my Winter break attached to the sewing machine for this one. I luckily already found shoes to modify for her, though! A start, at least? Lol.

Finishing things for Torakaka as I type! Literally, my other hand is being used as a clamp for the zipper pull as the glue dries, lol. Thought I might as well do something while I wait.
I'll actually have it complete, mask and all, though I'm still skeptical on if this mask will come out decent. We'll see.

So yes! I'm only wearing Tora on Saturday, and then plain clothes Fri and Sun. If you see me, say hi! It may not be easy for me to really be able to see people well from afar in my mask with my eyes slightly covered, so even if I'm teetering down the hall on my way somewhere in my ridiculous shoes, stop me! Lol.

I'm excited! Anyone else?

This is an edit of an old entry where I had to mass thank people, and I apologize for having to do so again.
I've had so much going on and much has happened on my page here that I don't even know where to start.
So, please do not think that I do not appreciate all the love given on my Sister of Battle or any of my other cosplays, and all the awesome people who have added me to their watch list.. Thank you!

Wow, I've been terrible. I posted new cosplay, got an awesome response, and hardly thanked anyone. For that I apologize, and send out big, big thanks to everyone who fav'd and added me to their watch list. I'll be better, promise.

This past semester was crazy towards the end, so I'm looking forwards to the new one, which should be less stressful.

As far as cosplay plans and work goes, I've got a Sister of Battle in the works for Megacon '11.
Or, well.. Soon to be in the works, lol. For now, that may be it. I have other options and ideas that I'd like to try and see if I can take on as well, but currently, she's my priority (not to mention the Psyker to make for my boyfriend). I'm pretty excited about it, but I just gotta get working on it. I plan to make a breakdown of the costume tomorrow, and devote some time every weekend to work on it.

Anyway, just giving a shout that I am indeed alive and will be working, and again, so many thanks to those that showed appreciation for my work!
